Tons of great new products!

Crown Royal Canadian Whisky has just released a new expression, Crown Royal Black. Darker in color and deeper in body, the Canadian whisky is bended at 90 proof and takes aging from charred oak barrels, which gives it both the added depth and color.

And we’re not just talking cranberries. We’re talking all kinds of fresh produce. 365 days a year. Everything from fresh cranberries to sweet, ripe grapefruit or tangy citrus fruits, like lemons, limes and tangerines. No matter what it is, you know it’s going to be fresh, delicious and healthy. After all, we all know fruits and vegetables are good for us. In fact it’s been shown that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of some types of cancers and other chronic diseases. One more reason to love Ocean Spray produce.

When Drew and Myra Goodman came to California’s Carmel Valley in 1984, they were determined young transplants from Manhattan, drawn to the natural beauty and richness of the land. Even before they turned over their first shovels full of soil, they believed strongly in doing the right thing.

They settled on a 2.5-acre raspberry farm and decided that doing the right thing meant committing to farming this spectacular land organically, producing food they would want to eat themselves and would feel good about serving their families, friends, and neighbors. Their labor of love became Earthbound Farm.

It wasn’t long before Earthbound Farm was doing a lot of the right things. Undaunted by those who said it couldn’t be done, in 1986 we became the first company to successfully launch prewashed, packaged salad for retail sale. When we introduced our mixed baby greens or “spring mix” to restaurants and supermarket produce aisles, we started a salad revolution. Today, gourmet salad greens and packaged salads have become staples of grocery baskets everywhere.

We’ve been farming for 26 years now, and we’ve become the world’s largest grower of organic produce. But our roots remain strong: our founders still guide the company, and our original commitment to farming organically has never wavered. We’re dedicated to bringing the benefits of organic food — fresh, flavorful, and healthy — to as many people as possible.

At Earthbound Farm, our unwavering commitment to organic farming comes from our concern for health. Farming organically helps keep our consumers and our environment healthy by avoiding the use of harmful chemicals. Organic farming focuses on building the fertility of the soil with natural materials, resulting in rich, vital field ecosystems that produce fruits and vegetables as pure and healthy as they were intended to be.

Our farm-fresh organic salads, fruits, and vegetables are chosen by millions of people every day in supermarkets across North America and beyond — we’re delighted to be sharing our passion with you in every delicious bite of Earthbound Farm organic produce.

Made in Ireland

Ireland is made for cheese and butter. Or maybe cheese and butter are made for Ireland. It's kind of hard to tell, really, since the two go so intricately hand-in-hand.

The temperate, year-round weather and moisture-bearing southwesterly winds create a smorgasbord for our cows who dine on rich, fertile grass in the rolling, green pastures that dominate our countryside. We rely on a cooperative of small dairy farmers with centuries of cheese-making traditions to turn the rich, sweet milk that is produced into the finest cheese and butter in the world.

More than a century ago, a gentleman in the Provence region of France, Monsieur Meynier conceived the first tapenade recipe. It was a delicate blend of finely chopped olives, capers, anchovies and olive oil. His creation was hailed far and wide and many variations became popular throughout Europe, but it is Provence that is still associated with the wondrous tasting spreads. In fact, tapenades have been nicknamed “the black butter of Provence,” as well as “the caviar of the poor.”
